Google is just too good. It keeps a record of old posts and stuff, so even though I believe I have taken off any specific mentioning of my other blog, it still comes up when I search for it. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it does, but comes up further down the list than the other blog. Today I searched, and this secret blog was the top option. Hmmm...
So... My question to you... Do I worry about it? Do I start making you guys log in to read this blog? Do I just wait it out and see what happens? Presumably those I'm concerned about already know the address of my other blog, so why would they ever Google it?
Give me your thoughts. I'd love to hear if you'd be willing to do the extra step of logging in, or what you'd do if you were me.

Go with your gut. Before I knew this one existed I always googles and went to the other one.
As far as Google goes, whichever blog has more hits from the search terms and contains more of the search terms will come up first.
One thing to help would be to sign your posts N. That way people looking for niffer in the future won't pull of up. It takes google two weeks to a month to update the cached content.
I think I'm going to choose to continue to not worry about it (or at least try). So far, the only people who have actually clicked on this blog while searching for the other have been me and hubby. LOL. It is weird, though, that the other one comes up higher in the list. If someone understands Google better than I do, maybe you could explain that one?
I did a google blog search for just "n*ffer" and this was the second hit. That would be a little too close for comfort for me. Do you use statcounter? I'm always surprised how many people google the blog name to find it. Where it is such a sensitive matter, I'd probably be a little concerned. I could see a family member telling a friend to just google n*ffer and then...
I say this, but I have yet to do anything to fix my own. Less than a dozen RL friends know it exists, and I really want to keep it that way.
I've gone through and changed all the comments from N!ffer. Hopefully that will eventually do the trick.
Well, I just realized that using the keywords that my sister has used in the past, this blog shows up as #4 on the list. I agree with Heidi - too close for comfort, but hopefully the stuff that I've done in the last couple of days will eventually take care of the problem. I just now have to wait for Google to get their end of things updated, and I'm sure that's top on their list of priorities. =)
Since you're using Blogger it will update MUCH faster because Google owns it.
I would definitely login to read it. Just make the username and password the same and make it easy.
As far as what to do? Do you think your family uses keywords to look for your blog? Mine either subscribe via email or look at it when I remind them & send them a link but otherwise they're not on the computer much. That being said, it is uncomfortable that Google lists it - if they're searching they could find it.
The other take though, is that it's ok to have private thoughts and feelings and express them, even if controversial. Your explanation in the sidebar is very kind and your posts are not mean-spirited either. I can imagine not being pleased if I was the subject of one of your posts but also understanding that these are your private thoughts and you are entitled to your feelings.
What do you think would happen if someone came across it? What's the likelihood of them searching?
I know the keywords my sister uses when she does a search. Most of the time, she goes straight to the blog, but other times she searches for it. That's what started this whole thing. She always clicks on my real blog, but when I do a search for the same words, this one came up close to the top. Too close for comfort, but I think it's already much better now.
If she found out, I am not sure how she would respond. Only time will tell. =)
